Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and transfer to your hotel. Cochin, historically a thriving Jewish community, is now home to only 26 Jews. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin
Visit the iconic Chinese fishing nets and Saint Francis Church, the resting place of Vasco da Gama.
Stroll along Jew Street to the 450-year-old Paradesi Synagogue in Mattancherry, and explore the antique shops and spice markets.
Discover the hidden synagogue in Ernakulam, located behind an aquarium and garden shop.
Overnight in Cochin.
Day 3: Cochin
Tour the 17th-century Chennamangalam Synagogue and museum, located near a Hindu temple, church, and mosque, showcasing India’s religious tolerance.
Visit the Parur Synagogue, an architectural gem from 1616. In the evening, watch a traditional Kathakali dance drama.
Overnight in Cochin.
Day 4: Cochin - Kumarakom
Travel to the rural village of Vaikom, stopping at Vaikom Mahadeva Temple and a coconut oil extraction plant.
In the village, take a country canoe cruise and enjoy a traditional Kerala vegetarian lunch served on a banana leaf.
Engage with the villagers and observe their daily activities, such as rope-making from coconut fiber, mat-weaving, fishing, farming, and handicrafts.
Overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom
In the morning, ride a Shikara and explore the narrow canals around Kumarakom. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on Lake Vembanad. Option to ride on a houseboat to Alleppey.

Day 6: Kumarakom - Munnar
Drive to Munnar, a picturesque town in the Idukki district of Kerala, named after the confluence of three rivers.
Overnight at Munnar.
Day 7: Munnar
Explore Munnar’s attractions, including the TATA Tea Museum and Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Ibex). Visit the Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, and other scenic spots.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walk through a tea plantation.

Day 8: Munnar - Cochin
Drive back to Cochin for your flight home or onward destination.
Enjoy a boat ride at dawn to view the ghats, former palaces around the Ganges, and the pilgrims who bathe in the river and pay homage to the sun god each morning.
Explore the narrow streets of Varanasi to visit some of the noted temples – See the cremation Ghat along the Ganges.
Witness the Aarti ceremony at the Ganges – Watch as lighted wicks soaked in purified butter or camphor are offered to Indian deities.
