  • Day 1: THURSDAY
    Mumbai(ARRIVAL)
    Arrival in Mumbai.
    Assistance and transfer to hotel.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 2: FRIDAY
    Mumbai
    Depart from hotel.
    Stop at two synagogues that have played an integral role in Indian Jewish life: Magen David and Tiphereth Israel.
    Visit the common laundry and the Gandhi museum, then stop for lunch at a local vegetarian restaurant.
    Visit the Hanging Gardens and drive through the Parsi Towers of Silence.
    Return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. Enjoy Shabbat Services and a kosher Baghdadi dinner with the community at the Kneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 3: SATURDAY
    Mumbai
    Walk to the Kneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue for services, followed by Shabbat lunch with the congregation.
    Take advantage of a quiet afternoon, or visit some of Mumbai's fascinating cultural sites on a walking tour of the university and high court; the David Sassoon Library, and Flora Fountain.
    Optional visit to the Prince of Wales Museum, which houses approximately 50,000 exhibits, including archeological finds and a miniature paintings gallery. Tickets will be purchased in advance.

  • Day 4: SUNDAY
    Mumbai
    Depart by ferry to visit the villages where the Bene Israel landed 2,000 years ago.
    Ride in a tuk tuk, an auto rickshaw, to the original landing site of the Jews at Navgaon, then travel to the Magen Aboth Synagogue in Alibaug. After lunch board a ferry back to Mumbai.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 5: MONDAY
    MUMBAI-COCHIN (FLIGHT)
    Visit the Chinese fishing nets, an elegant and hypnotic form of fishing; the fish market, and Saint Francis Church, where the Portuguese explorer Vasco de Gama is buried.
    Explore the Paradesi Synagogue, built in 1568 and located in the old quarter of Cochin. Of the seven local synagogues it is the only one still holding services.
    Lunch at a local Restaurant.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 6: TUESDAY
    COCHIN
    Visit the 1614 Chennamangalam Synagogue, a relic of the area's Jewish history. Built close to a Hindu temple, a mosque and a church, it stands as a symbol of coexistence.
    Continue to Parur, once home to one of the oldest enclaves of Jews in Kerala as well as the region's largest and architecturally interesting synagogue. Lunch at local restaurant.
    Enjoy a backwater boat tour through local canals and observe the local way of life. enjoy a Kathakali dance drama.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 7: WEDNESDAY
    COCHIN-MUMBAI- JAIPUR (FLIGHT)
    After breakfast transfer to airport for a flight to Jaipur via Mumbai.
    Arrive in Jaipur, a city of palaces and monuments and the capital of Rajasthan. Transfer to hotel.
    Dinner, Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 8 -THURSDAY
    JAIPUR
    After breakfast, morning excursion to Amber Fort, featuring an elephant ride.
    The palace is a classic,romantic Rajastani fort palace. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.
    Continue to the City Palace, a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture which sprawls over one-seventh of the walled city; and the Jantar Mantar, the largest and the best preserved of five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country.
    This observatory consists of outsized astronomical instruments and is still in use.
  • Day 9: FRIDAY
    JAIPUR-DELHI(5 hrs.)
    Leave for Delhi, the capital of India. City tour of Old Delhi, including Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation; rickshaw ride, and drive past the Red Fort (once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire).
    Tour of New Delhi, including photo-stop at India Gate.
    Drive past Parliament house, President House, and Government buildings.
    Lunch & Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 10: SATURDAY
    DELHI
    Morning relaxation or optional visit to Humayun's tomb, said to inspire the architectural style of the Taj Mahal.
    Visit a Sikh temple and learn about the religion and its beliefs.
    After lunch, free time for shopping in the vicinity of the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 11: SUNDAY
    DELHI-AGRA (3½hrs.)
    Start for Agra early in the morning after breakfast.
    Check in the hotel and after lunch depart for sightseeing of the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world, an architectural marvel constructed entirely of white marble and a symbol of love of the Emperor Shah Jahan for his favorite queen, Mumtaj Mahal.
    Enjoy shopping for Agra's well known marble crafts.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 12: MONDAY
    AGRA-DELHI (4 hrs.)
    Leave for Delhi.
    Packed Lunch, En route visit the Agra Fort and Kohinoor, a private museum with an excellent collection of embroidery.
    Arrival and transfer to the airport.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The official check-in time at all the hotels is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 12 Noon.
Sometimes due to VIP/ Foreign Dignitaries visit, monuments remain closed for public/ tourist due to security reasons. In such cases we will try to re-schedule visit to particular monument if time permits.
Name and Gender, as in the passport, of all passengers are required in order to issue air ticket & Train Tickets.
The above mentioned hotels will only be confirmed on availability at the time of booking. If these are not available, then suitable alternatives will be suggested prior to confirmation.
All Domestic Airlines in India only allows 15 killo Chekc-in Bags & 07 in Hand. Rest will be paid by the passengers directly.
In India we cannot hold booking on domestic flights/Trains the same has to be issued. In case of groups we can hold with a deposit of 30% non-refundable amount.
All distances/ travel time between cities mentioned above are subject to variations depending on traffic flow and road conditions.

Cancellation Policy

All the bookings have to be guaranteed atleast 30 days prior to the arrival & in Groups 60 days in Advance, In season time October to March Group has to be guaranteed with deposit.
During peak season (20th December to 05th January), all the bookings have to be guaranteed at least 60 days prior to the arrival.
After issuing air tickets, cancellation charges will be applicable if the tickets are cancelled or in the event of any name change or change in the sector/ date.

FIT cancelation as under & Group conditions depend on Hotels

Between 30 days of arrival 100% of cancelation will be Charged.

Other Conditions

If the clients avail any additional services apart from the inclusions as per the itinerary, then payment must be settled with any of our offices in India before they depart. No credit will be provided.
Our office in Delhi will process all refunds, as these have to be channeled through The Reserve Bank of India. The process is a lengthy one and takes approximately ten to twelve weeks.
All arrangements made by World Escapes India Private Limited are in the capacity of an agent only. World Escapes will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries or cancelled flights/ trains and acts of force majeure, currency fluctuations and increase in fuel prices or taxes.
All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/ health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin.
Our quotations are not budgeted for any increase in taxes, introduction of new taxes, increase in entrance fees to any monuments mentioned in the itinerary and increase in domestic airfares. Hence our quotations are subject to change and we would have to ask you to absorb the cost. You will be informed as soon as any Indian Government Agency or Airlines introduces the above changes.
